These terms apply when you use MyPDF: the website at mypdf.live and the editor at app.mypdf.live (together, "the service"). By using the service or creating an account, you agree to them.
1. The beta
MyPDF is in beta. It's provided free of charge while we improve it. Features may change, and the service may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance. We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we'll tell account holders in advance, and you'll never be charged unless you choose a paid plan.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your password secret, and tell us if you think someone else has accessed your account.
- You're responsible for activity on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from My account.
3. Your documents and content
Your documents belong to you. We don't claim any rights over them. You're responsible for having the right to edit, sign, redact, convert or share the documents you work on. The editor doesn't keep your work, so download your finished files and keep your own backups.
4. Acceptable use
Don't use MyPDF to:
- break the law, or forge, falsify or alter documents in order to deceive or defraud anyone;
- process content you have no right to use;
- try to disrupt, overload, reverse-engineer or gain unauthorised access to the service or other users' accounts;
- make automated or bulk use of the server tools in a way that degrades the service for others.
We may suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
5. Signatures and redaction
MyPDF places a visual electronic signature (an image) on documents. Whether that's legally sufficient depends on your country and the type of document. It's your responsibility to check. Redaction permanently removes content under the boxes you mark, but you're responsible for marking everything that needs removing and for checking the result before sharing it.
6. No warranty
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work hard to make it reliable and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that results (for example OCR text or conversions) will be perfect. Always review important documents before you rely on or share them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for loss of data, documents, profits or business arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, email account holders in advance. If you keep using the service after changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
